Weekly Schedule
Sunday
Breaking of Bread: 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM
Remembering and honoring the Lord Jesus.
The Breaking of Bread is held in obedience to the Lord's command "this do in remembrance of me" (Luke 22:19). The Lord instituted this remembrance before His death, telling His disciples to remember Him by partaking of bread and the cup (1 Corinthians 11:25-26). He took simple bread and a cup to symbolize his own body and blood, respectively. During this meeting, we worship the Lord, as those in assembly fellowship are led in prayer by exercised brethren and all join in congregational singing. The physical bread and cup are partaken by those in assembly fellowship to signify our union with Lord and our fellowship with each member of the assembly. A word of Bible teaching follows at the close of this remembrance.
We welcome visitors who are not members of the assembly to observe, and trust they too will "worship God, declaring that God is certainly among you" (1 Corinthians 14:25).
Sunday School / Gospel Meeting: 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Proclaiming the wonderful message of the Gospel.
Knowing God in the way described in His Word is fundamental to a life of purpose and peace. We desire to see children and adults come into the blessing of salvation. Sunday School is taught for young people. After a time of group singing and activities, a message from the Bible designed for children is taught to all who attend. Following that the Gospel is preached, as was done by the Lord, the early apostles, and through the centuries to this present day (Hebrews 2:3).
Gospel Zoom Session: 7:00 PM
Proclaiming the wonderful message of the Gospel.
Receiving the free gift of salvation is life-changing, and we seek to follow the Lord's command "to go into all the world and preach the gospel" (Mark 16:15) . The gospel we preach is that “Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). This meeting is held over Zoom (please contact us for the link), and we present a clear message about the central message of the Bible: God’s way of salvation. In this meeting we emphasize the Bible’s call to repent from sin and personally accept Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Since this is an individual matter, no public pressure is exerted; however personal conversations are always available should you desire it.
Wednesday
Prayer and Bible Study: 7:45 PM - 9:00 PM
Edifying each other through prayer and Bible study.
The assembly meets weekly to spend time in prayer and in systematic Bible study. Prayer requests are shared, and the assembly joins in collective prayer. Following this, a section from the Bible is systematically studied. This meeting is led by teachers in assembly fellowship and are for the edification of all.
